Victim Compensation Session in the Central Region from October 19 to 30, 2020
As part of its mission to implement the reparation program, the High Commission for Reconciliation and National Unity (HCRRUN) will hold a compensation session for individual victims in the prefectures of Sotouboua, Blitta, and Plaine de Mô from October 19 to 30, 2020.
To this end, HCRRUN invites victims whose names are displayed in the premises of their respective prefectures and town halls or published on the institution’s website (www.hcrrun-tg.org) to present themselves on the dates and at the locations indicated according to the program below:
- from October 19 to 30, 2020, at the Council Chamber of the Sotouboua Prefecture for victims from Sotouboua and Plaine de Mô;
- from October 19 to 21, 2020, at the Blitta International Conference Center for victims from the Blitta prefecture.
As with previous operations, victims are requested to bring one of the following valid identification documents: - Passport;
- Identity card;
- Driver’s license;
- Or, failing that, a valid voter’s card (2018).
Furthermore, HCRRUN informs that the compensation operations will be carried out in strict compliance with COVID-19 barrier measures, namely: - Mandatory wearing of masks for access to compensation sites;
- Installation of hand-washing facilities at all entrances to compensation sites;
- Mandatory temperature checks for all individuals to access compensation sites;
- Victims to be compensated will be received in groups of 15 and seated at a distance respecting social distancing measures;
- Sick or elderly victims will be allowed to be accompanied by only one person.
HCRRUN requests victims whose names are published to respect their scheduled dates to avoid crowds at the compensation sites, and those whose names are not yet published to patiently await their turn when the time comes.
