Implementation of the reparations programme / The President of the HCRRUN checks on preparations for the information and exchange meeting in the Prefecture of Golfe
The President of HCRRUN, Mrs Awa Nana-Daboya, accompanied by resource persons, met with the Prefect of Golfe, Mr Awaté Hodabalo, on Monday, May 15, 2017, in the main conference room of the Prefecture. The purpose of the visit was to review the preparations for the information and consultation meeting with the population of the Golfe Prefecture scheduled for Thursday, May 18, 2017.

The Prefect expressed his appreciation for the visit of the President of HCRRUN and her delegation and welcomed the Institution’s initiative. “The organising committee has already taken all the necessary measures to ensure the success of this awareness-raising meeting,” Mr Awaté Hodabalo stated.
More than 500 participants representing the various socio-political groups of the Golfe Prefecture were expected to attend the meeting, including representatives of political parties, traditional authorities, Village Development Committees (CDVs) and Neighbourhood Development Committees (CDQs), trade unions, religious leaders, youth and women’s associations, the defence and security forces, as well as members of the Peace Committees.
Satisfied with the level of preparation, the President of HCRRUN, Mrs Awa Nana-Daboya, thanked the Prefect and his team for the work already accomplished and encouraged them to continue their efforts to ensure the successful organisation of the meeting scheduled for Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Golfe Prefecture.
