During this month of December 2017, HCRRUN will proceed with the medical and psychological care of vulnerable victims, in accordance with the CVJR’s reparation program, as well as their compensation. To validate the practical modalities for implementing this stage of reparations, the Institution held an information meeting this Friday, November 17, 2017, with key stakeholders involved in the process. These include representatives from the Presidency of the Republic, the Prime Minister’s Office, the various ministerial departments involved in this process, members of the Special Compensation Fund Management Committee (CGFSI), the NGO AIMES-Afrique, and HCRRUN resource persons.
The role of each involved stakeholder was defined during this meeting, and an intervention plan was validated.
The vulnerable victims concerned by this first stage of compensation number 137, distributed throughout the country. These are victims still suffering from severe physical or psychological sequelae and requiring care.
HCRRUN will publish the list of vulnerable victims concerned by this phase starting from the end of this month, November 2017. Telephone contact with these victims has already begun to ascertain their current place of residence, with a view to organizing their transport to Lomé.
