On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at the Institution’s headquarters, members of HCRRUN met with the three members of the Management Committee of the Special Fund for the Compensation of Victims of Political Violence from 1958 to 2005, established by Decree No. 2017-039/PR of March 23, 2017.
Mr Ametonou Kudzo and Mr Ibouraim Kperegueni, Central Treasury Inspectors, as well as Mr Mimatea Firakouma, Head of Division at MATDCL, met with HCRRUN members to familiarise themselves with their mission within the framework of implementing the Institution’s Reparations Programme.
Appointed by Ministerial Order No. 132/MEF/CAB of August 24, 2017, they were officially introduced to HCRRUN by the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Mr Daniel Tofio.
They were received by Mrs Awa Nana-Daboya and Mr Wiyao Evalo, respectively President and First Rapporteur of HCRRUN, assisted by Mr Ahli Senyo, Head of Administration and Finance.
This meeting marks the beginning of preparations for the imminent launch of the compensation phase.
