” Beneficiaries of deceased victims are requested to provide or present, in addition to the documents ordinarily required (National identity card; passport, driver’s license, and voter card):

  • the death certificate of the victim,
  • the certificate of cause of death issued by the hospital or with
  • three (3) witnesses bearing the same family name as the victim,” according to a statement published by the HCRRUN on Monday, June 17, 2019, as part of the ongoing compensation operations for victims in the Plateaux-Est region.

Continuing its itinerant compensation missions for victims of political violence in Togo identified by the CVJR, the HCRRUN will be based in Atakpamé from June 20 to 28, 2019, to serve victims from the prefectures of the Plateaux-Est region, namely Akébou, Amou, Anié, Est-Mono, Haho, Moyen-Mono, Ogou, and Wawa.

The proceedings this time will take place at the Atakpamé Cultural Center on the Agbonou hill heading toward Sada.

The list of non-vulnerable victims concerned by this phase is available here on the HCRRUN website (www.hcrrun-tg.org), and posted in the offices of the prefectures and town halls of the said region.

As always, the HCRRUN reminds the victims concerned to provide one of the following valid identity documents:

  • National identity card
  • Driver’s license
  • Passport
  • Voter card.
