The Members of HCRRUN received His Excellency Mr Liu Yuxi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Togo, accompanied by his Political Attaché, Mr Zhang Zhao, on Thursday, April 13, 2017.
The Chinese Ambassador came to express his country’s support for the mission of HCRRUN. “It was a great pleasure to meet the President of HCRRUN and her colleagues. I greatly appreciate the work being carried out by HCRRUN in promoting peace, reconciliation, and national unity in Togo. As a friendly and brotherly country, China will continue to support its Togolese partners through closer cooperation in all areas, particularly in development and in ensuring the success of HCRRUN’s mission,” Mr Liu Yuxi stated at the conclusion of the meeting.
For her part, the President of HCRRUN welcomed this initiative and expressed her appreciation for China’s commitment to supporting Togo in its national reconciliation process.
