PRESS RELEASE: Working visit of a Rwandan delegation to the HCRRUN
The High Commissioner for Reconciliation and Strengthening National Unity (HCRRUN) is hosting a delegation of Rwandan experts from February 12 to 19, 2017, as part of a visiting and working mission to Togo.
The purpose of this mission by the Rwandan delegation is to share their experiences in Political and Institutional Reforms with Togolese state and non-state actors.
It should be noted that the invitation of this delegation for this exchange of experiences was already planned as part of the national workshop on political and institutional reforms organized by the HCRRUN from July 11 to 15, 2016, in Lomé.
This sharing of experiences will take the form of sectoral meetings with members of the Reforms Commission, representatives of various ministerial departments, institutions, and civil society organizations. The delegation will also meet with the media during a press briefing to be organized for them on Friday, February 17, 2017.
These meetings should enable these various target groups to familiarize themselves with the different preliminary steps, the mechanisms to be put in place, and the pitfalls to anticipate when a country embarks on a reform process.
To this end, the HCRRUN invites the entire Togolese population, state and non-state actors, as well as the media, to extend a warm welcome to its guests and to learn from their experiences for the successful completion of the reform process currently underway in the country.
