Members of the High Commission for Reconciliation and the Strengthening of National Unity (HCRRUN), accompanied by all staff members, were at the Presidency of the Republic on Friday, 20 January 2017.Led by Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya, President of the Institution, the delegation went to present its New Year’s greetings to the Head of State, His Excellency Mr. Faure Gnassingbé.
Like HCRRUN, the other Institutions of the Republic, headed by their respective presidents and accompanied by their staff members, were at the Presidential Palace on Friday for the same purpose.These included, in particular, the National Assembly, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, the High Authority for Audiovisual and Communication (HAAC), the Court of Auditors, and the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH).Also present were representatives of the traditional chieftaincy, a delegation of political parties, the Muslim Union of Togo (UMT), the Christian Council of Togo, and the Episcopal Conference of Togo (CET).
The programme for presenting New Year’s greetings to the Head of State continued on Friday afternoon with delegations from the General Administration.
