Implementation of the reparations program / Purification ceremonies concluded this Sunday
The week declared by the Togolese Government, following a proposal by HCRRUN, for the purification of Togo concluded on Sunday, 9 July 2017, with Catholic masses and Protestant services.
At the Assemblies of God Temple at ESTAO in Lomé, the President of HCRRUN, Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya, Prime Minister Sélom Komi Klassou, and several members of the Government attended the service dedicated to the purification of Togo.
Through the sermon delivered by Reverend Djakouti Mitré, the President of the Christian Council of Togo called on Togolese citizens to embrace love and forgiveness.

Prayers of repentance and restoration were offered to God on this occasion, and His mercy was implored upon Togo.
The same masses and services were held throughout the country with the same intentions.
These purification ceremonies, in response to Recommendation 47 of the CVJR, reached their climax on Thursday with prayers, libations, and offerings by traditional priests to the spirits and ancestors, followed by Muslim prayers on Friday in all mosques across Togo, attended by the Head of State, Faure Gnassingbé, at the Grand Mosque of Lomé.
The two HCRRUN Rapporteurs, accompanied by resource persons and members of the Peace Committees, represented the Institution at the various ceremonies held in all prefectures.
