“Voter cards will no longer be accepted for the upcoming compensation sessions scheduled from July 2018 onwards,” according to a
press release according to a statement issued by HCRRUN in the middle of last week.
Through this press release, HCRRUN informs eligible victims that compensation payments by cheque due to them will henceforth be made upon presentation of a biometric national identity card, a driver’s licence, or a passport.
During an address delivered on 19 April in Anié, the President of HCRRUN, Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya, invited victims to obtain a national identity card in order to facilitate the cashing of their cheques at the bank.
