The HCRRUN reminds beneficiaries of deceased victims of the conditions to be met in order to receive compensation.
“Beneficiaries of deceased victims are requested to provide or present, in addition to the documents normally required (National Identity Card, passport, driver’s licence, and voter card):
- the death certificate of the victim;
- the certificate of the cause of death issued by the hospital, or
- a statement signed by three (3) witnesses bearing the same family name as the victim,” according to a statement issued by HCRRUN on Monday, June 17, 2019, as part of the ongoing compensation operations for victims in the Eastern Plateaux Region.
As part of its continued mobile compensation missions for victims of political violence in Togo identified by the CVJR, HCRRUN will be based in Atakpamé from June 20 to 28, 2019, to assist victims from the prefectures of the Eastern Plateaux Region, namely Akébou, Amou, Anié, Est-Mono, Haho, Moyen-Mono, Ogou, and Wawa.
The operations will take place at the Atakpamé Cultural Centre, located on Agbonou Hill, on the road towards Sada.
The list of non-vulnerable victims concerned by this phase is available on the HCRRUN website (www.hcrrun-tg.org) and posted at the offices of the prefectures and town halls of the region concerned.
As usual, HCRRUN reminds the victims concerned to provide one of the following valid identity documents:
- National Identity Card
- Driver’s Licence
- Passport
- Voter Card.
