In her capacity as Ombudsman of the Republic of Togo, Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya, President of HCRRUN, hosted her counterparts from the sub-region in Lomé from February 25 to 28, 2019, for an extraordinary General Assembly of the Association of Ombudsmen of WAEMU Member Countries (AMP-UEMOA).
The purpose of the meeting was, on the one hand, to validate the two-year action plan of the new President of AMP-UEMOA, Mr. Ali Sirfi, elected in October 2018 during the association’s 5th General Assembly, and, on the other hand, to endorse the work of the Committee of Experts, which met in Niamey from December 15 to 19, 2018.
The meeting was held at the Hôtel 2 Février and brought together delegations from each member country of the association.
