Compensation Session for Non-Vulnerable Victims in the Plateaux-Est and Kara Regions from January 25 to February 10, 2021
Stage IV
Following the victim compensation sessions held in the Kara and Plateaux-Est regions from December 7 to 12, 2020, during which all scheduled victims could not be compensated, the High Commission for Reconciliation and Strengthening of National Unity (HCRRUN) will hold two simultaneous compensation sessions in these two regions from January 25 to February 10, 2021.
In order to bring the reparations process closer to the population, and taking into account the difficulties victims face in traveling, HCRRUN will organize these operations on an itinerant basis according to the schedule and locations below:
For the Plateaux-Est Region
- January 25 and 26, 2021 at the Tohoun Community Center for victims from Moyen Mono Prefecture;
- January 27, 2021 in the hall of the former Prefecture Council in Notsè for victims from Haho Prefecture;
- January 28 and 29, 2021 at the Havi-Lonlon Center in Badou for victims from Akebou and Wawa Prefectures;
- January 30, 2021 at the Amlamé Community Center for victims from Amou Prefecture;
- February 1st, 2021 in the prefecture meeting hall in Elavagnon for victims from Est-Mono Prefecture;
- February 2 to 6 and 8 to 10, 2021 at the Atakpamé Social Action Directorate for victims from Ogou and Anié Prefectures as well as latecomers from all other prefectures.
For the Kara Region
- January 25 and 27, 2021 at the Bassar Cultural Center for victims from Bassar and Dankpen Prefectures;
- January 28 to 30, 2021 at the Niamtougou Cultural Center for victims from Doufelgou Prefecture
- February 1st to 2, 2021 at the Kanté Community Center for victims from Kéran Prefecture;
- February 3 to 5, 2021 at the Pagouda Community Center for victims from Binah Prefecture;
- February 6, 2021 at the Bafilo Community Center for victims from Assoli Prefecture
- February 8 to 10, 2021 at the Kara Social Action Directorate for victims from Kozah Prefecture as well as latecomers from all other prefectures.
To this end, HCRRUN reminds that the lists of scheduled victims are available on the institution’s website (www.hcrrun-tg.org) and are also posted in the offices of the relevant town halls and prefectures.
Victims are invited, as for previous operations, to bring one of the following valid identity documents:
- Passport
- Identity card
- Driver’s license
- or failing that, a valid voter card (2018)
Furthermore, HCRRUN informs that the compensation operations will be conducted in strict compliance with COVID-19 barrier measures.
Finally, HCRRUN asks victims whose names have not yet been published to be patient and understanding, as no person selected for the reparations program will be forgotten.
