HCRRUN officially presented its new headquarters to the press this Friday, February 16, 2018. Located in the OUA City, at villa No. 36 opposite the Constitutional Court, the new premises house the Office of the Ombudsman of the Republic and the High Commission for Reconciliation and Strengthening National Unity. Part of it will also serve as a setting for the psycho-medical care of vulnerable victims.
” The premises where we are currently operating were made available to our institutions by the Togolese State, and these premises you see add to the long list of measures that the highest authority of the State, His Excellency the President of the Republic, has taken to enable HCRRUN to work with complete peace of mind on the process of reconciliation and strengthening national unity“, declared Mrs Awa Nana-Daboya.
The President of HCRRUN paid tribute to the Head of State, announcing that on his instructions, the Government has included in the 2018 budget an amount of five billion FCFA intended for the Reparations Programme.
