The High Commission for Reconciliation and Strengthening of National Unity (HCRRUN) launched the compensation exercise for non-vulnerable victims from the Zio, Yoto and Avé Prefectures on 3 April 2018. The compensation sessions are being held at the Tsévié Prefecture Office until 6 April 2018.

Nearly 180 beneficiaries are expected to receive compensation during this phase.

According to Mrs Awa NANA-DABOYA, the compensation awarded to beneficiaries ranges from CFAF 420,000 to CFAF 2,100,000.

“HCRRUN is responsible for implementing the terms of reference, which include the list of beneficiaries and the corresponding compensation amounts. HCRRUN does not deduct a single franc from the amount allocated to each beneficiary. Therefore, anyone who has doubts about the amount received may submit a request to consult the database.”
