The UNDP Deputy Resident Representative pays a visit to HCRRUN members

The President of HCRRUN, Mrs Awa Nana-Daboya, received this Tuesday, 17 July 2018, in the presence of the First Rapporteur, Mr Wiyao Evalo, a visit from the new UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Togo, Mr Abdoul Wahab Ba.

Abdoul Wahab Ba, Peace and Development Adviser and focal point of the UN agency in Togo with HCRRUN, came to discuss various topics with members of the Institution.

He first inquired about the progress of HCRRUN’s activities in implementing the reparations programme. He then mentioned UNDP’s support to HCRRUN in various projects, notably the training of members of the Peace Committees in conflict prevention and management, with a view to building and strengthening the peace infrastructure in Togo.

The UNDP focal point with HCRRUN finally welcomed the smooth running of the reparations programme’s activities and described the Institution as very active and effective.
