506 victims out of 682 compensated, with 98.5% satisfaction in the Savanes, Kara and Centrale regions
HCRRUN concluded this Saturday, June 23, 2018, the first phase of compensation for non-vulnerable victims of the 2005 events. This was done through a press briefing held in Sotouboua following the final stage held in this town to serve the victims of the said prefecture and those of Blitta.
This stage of Pole I, which began on June 4 in Dapaong, continued in Mango on June 6, in Kara from the 7th to the 13th, in Sokodé from the 18th to the 20th, and ended in Sotouboua from the 21st to the 23rd. In total, 682 victims were expected to be compensated in these three regions.
Ultimately, 506 victims were located and compensated. According to Mr. Wiyao Evalo, First Rapporteur of HCRRUN, the participation rate of victims in this pole stands at 74.19%, while the overall satisfaction rate is around 98.5%.
New compensation operations will begin in the coming months, according to HCRRUN’s programmes.
