Journalists and radio and television presenters trained by HCRRUN for better support
Following the training of print journalists on Monday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 14, and online journalists on Thursday, November 15 and Friday, November 16, it is now the turn of journalists and presenters from radio and television stations in the Togolese capital and the Maritime Region to be trained on the concepts of transitional justice. Initiated by HCRRUN with financial support from UNDP, this training workshop aims to equip approximately fifty audiovisual media professionals in order to better support the Institution in implementing its mission.
A total of 200 journalists from all media across the entire national territory will be trained during this series of workshops, which will continue on Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24 in Kara for media professionals from the interior of the country.
In welcoming the participants at the opening of the proceedings, the President of HCRRUN, Mrs. Awa Nana Daboya, expressed her gratitude to the media for supporting her institution and promised the availability of her Institution to provide them with all the necessary elements for the proper exercise of their profession as information carriers and educators of the masses.
