HCRRUN invites victims to obtain their nationality certificates through DOSI mobile court hearings
In a press release published this September 11, 2019, HCRRUN, while welcoming the initiative of the DOSI and the nationality service aimed at facilitating the procedures for obtaining nationality certificates for compatriots, ” invites victims registered in its database, who have not yet received their compensation and do not have nationality certificates—thus finding it impossible to obtain a national identity card essential for the payment of their compensation—to attend these mobile court hearings in large numbers in order to obtain a Togolese nationality certificate.”
This institutional communiqué in support of the DOSI initiative constitutes a call from HCRRUN to those victims who do not have any identification documents to obtain their nationality certificate and proceed with the issuance of a national identity card.
To encourage the victims concerned to obtain these identity documents, HCRRUN promises to reimburse the processing fees upon presentation of the payment receipt at the appropriate time. According to the institution, this implies that the individuals concerned, after obtaining the nationality certificate, must have their national identity card issued before appearing before HCRRUN for their compensation.
As a reminder, the documents required by HCRRUN for the payment of compensation to victims are the National Identity Card, Passport, or Driver’s License.
