HCRRUN teams are in the Savanes region from December 6 to 18, 2021, to compensate victims of political violence recorded by the CVJR. This time, the list has been expanded to include victims registered by the National Special Independent Commission of Inquiry (CNSEI) created in 2005 by the Head of State and led at the time by former Prime Minister Joseph Kokou Koffigoh.
This session is taking place simultaneously, on one hand from December 6 to 11, 2021, in Dapaong for victims from the prefectures of Cinkassé, Kpendjal, Kpendjal-Ouest, and Tône and in Tandjouare for victims from that prefecture; and on the other hand from December 13 to 18, 2021, in Mango and Barkoissi for victims from Oti and Oti-Sud.

This compensation phase is a continuation of all previous stages and includes victims who provided statements either to the CVJR or the CNSEI and who had not yet been compensated since the start of the process. It does not involve an additional installment for individuals already compensated, nor does it include new individuals registered by HCRRUN.
Alongside this compensation session, HCRRUN will carry out a community reparation activity during the week of December 13 to 18 in Barkoissi, in the Oti prefecture.
The list of victims for each prefecture is available by clicking on the name of the prefecture.
