Mrs Awa NANA DABOYA, President of HCRRUN, co-chaired with Mrs Marceline MENSAH PIERUCCI, Chair of the Board of Directors of the West African Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP-Togo), a discussion forum on 11 March 2016 at its headquarters in Lomé. Organised to mark International Women’s Day, this discussion forum focused on the theme of the year: “Planet 50-50 by 2030. Let’s take the step towards gender equality”.
This activity, sponsored by HCRRUN, brought together around fifty women mediators from WANEP Togo and other organisations defending women’s rights. The two rapporteurs of HCRRUN, Mr Evalo WIYAO and Mrs Claudine KPONDZO AHIANYO, as well as a few staff members, also took part.
