While the compensation session for non-vulnerable victims is underway, from July 22nd to August 10th, HCRRUN has just issued a statement warning that perpetrators of fraud will be made public and will have to answer for their actions before justice. Indeed, according to the statement, “it has been observed that certain officials and agents of prefectures and courts issue documents to victims based on false information, in exchange for a payment ranging from 5 to 10% of the compensation amount.”
This has now led HCRRUN, after unmasking several such cases, to issue this warning to potential candidates for such practices.
Compensation sessions are currently continuing in Sotouboua for the Central region and in Atakpamé for the Plateaux region until the end of this week.
