From October 18 to 24, 2021, HCRRUN organized a compensation session in Kpalimé for victims of politically motivated violence. This session, primarily intended for victims registered by the National Special Independent Commission of Inquiry (CNSEI) in 2005 and originating from the prefectures of the Plateaux-Ouest Region, provided compensation to nearly 300 victims.
For victims who were scheduled to participate in this compensation session but were unable to attend, other sessions will be organized at a later date. The compensation session was conducted in strict compliance with COVID-19 preventive measures. HCRRUN teams will visit other regions of the country in the coming days to conduct similar compensation sessions.

Through these compensation activities, HCRRUN is implementing the reparation programme developed by the CVJR to help alleviate the suffering of victims of politically motivated violence and human rights violations.
