CONTRIBUTION TO THE NATIONAL RECONCILIATION PROCESS / HCRRUN AND THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION IN SYNC

Representatives of the public administration and part of the defence and security forces were briefed this Thursday, December 15, 2016, on HCRRUN’s mission, the concepts of reparation, national reconciliation and national unity, as well as their implications and contributions to the reparation process. This was part of the series of exchange workshops initiated by HCRRUN with various state and non-state actors.

Following the presentations delivered by the High Commissioners, these communications officers, press officers and the defence and security forces, in working groups, shared their views on the role they could play in the success of this mission. They put forward ideas for actions to be carried out, including sharing information related to HCRRUN, placing items in institutional publications, and relaying the workshop’s content within administrations and communities by organising feedback sessions for superiors, colleagues and within families.
