The High Commission for Reconciliation and Strengthening of National Unity (HCRRUN) received, this Thursday, January 18, 2018, vehicles donated by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) – Togo.

Consisting of a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Tx and a Toyota pick-up, this donation is support from the UN agency to HCRRUN for the fulfilment of its mission.

For Mrs Awa Nana-Daboya, President of HCRRUN, ” these vehicles come at a time when the Institution needed them greatly, especially at this phase of compensation“.

She then expressed her gratitude to UNDP and promised that her institution will make good use of this equipment for better fulfilment of its mission.

Mrs Khardiata Lo N’Diaye, UNDP Resident Representative in Togo, for her part, paid tribute to the President of HCRRUN and her entire team for their commitment to implementing the reparations programme and especially for the steps they took towards partners, as soon as the strategic plan was validated, to seek their multifaceted support for the success of their mission.

” These two vehicles will strengthen the action that HCRRUN has undertaken today in the compensation phase. We know that HCRRUN will go to the interior of the country to meet victims who did not come to Lomé“, she concluded.

A few months ago, HCRRUN received a batch of IT equipment also donated by UNDP.
