Victims of political violence in the Commune of Lomé receive reparations

On Monday, February 12, 2018, HCRRUN began providing medico-psychological care and reparations to vulnerable victims of the 2005 political violence in the commune of Lomé. Out of the approximately fifty victims identified by the CVJR in Lomé, twenty-one (21) were received by doctors for treatment during the week of February 12 to 16, 2018. They subsequently received symbolic reparations as provided for by the CVJR.  

Twenty other victims are expected next week for their turn to receive reparations.

HCRRUN launched the medico-psychological care for vulnerable victims of political violence in Togo on December 12, 2017. From December 12 to 29, 2017, more than sixty victims from the Savanes, Kara, Centrale, Plateaux, and Maritime regions were treated and received reparations.
