Victims of political violence in the Commune of Lomé receive reparations

On Monday, 12 February 2018, HCRRUN began providing psycho-medical care and reparations to vulnerable victims of the 2005 political violence in the Commune of Lomé.Out of the approximately 50 victims identified by the CVJR in Lomé, twenty-one (21) were received by medical teams for care during the week of 12 to 16 February 2018. They subsequently received symbolic reparations as provided for by the CVJR.

Twenty other victims are expected next week to receive their reparations.

HCRRUN launched the provision of psycho-medical care to vulnerable victims of political violence in Togo on 12 December 2017.From 12 to 29 December 2017, more than sixty victims from the Savanes, Kara, Centrale, Plateaux, and Maritime Regions received care and reparations.
