{"id":9992,"date":"2018-04-08T05:44:59","date_gmt":"2018-04-08T05:44:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/90-of-non-vulnerable-victims-satisfied-in-the-maritime-region\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T11:12:34","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T11:12:34","slug":"90-of-non-vulnerable-victims-satisfied-in-the-maritime-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/en\/90-of-non-vulnerable-victims-satisfied-in-the-maritime-region\/","title":{"rendered":"90% of non-vulnerable victims satisfied in the Maritime region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HCRRUN concluded the compensation exercise for <strong>non-vulnerable victims<\/strong> in the <strong>Maritime Region<\/strong> on <strong>6 April 2018<\/strong> with a press briefing held following the completion of the Ts\u00e9vi\u00e9 phase.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the briefing, the two HCRRUN Rapporteurs, <strong>Mr Evalo Wiyao<\/strong> and <strong>Mrs Claudine Ahianyo-Kpondzo<\/strong>, stated that <em>&#8220;the mid-term assessment is encouraging, particularly with regard to the population&#8217;s support for the process, especially that of the victims.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to the First Rapporteur, <strong>Mr Evalo Wiyao<\/strong>, <em>&#8220;across the Maritime Region, of the 460 beneficiaries expected, approximately 300 received compensation, with an overall satisfaction rate of around 90%.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For the <strong>Municipality of Lom\u00e9<\/strong> and <strong>Av\u00e9 Prefecture<\/strong>, <strong>90<\/strong> of the <strong>144<\/strong> identified non-vulnerable beneficiaries, representing <strong>62.5%<\/strong>, received compensation, with a satisfaction rate of <strong>72%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Vo, Lacs and Bas-Mono Prefectures<\/strong>, <strong>133<\/strong> of the <strong>180<\/strong> identified beneficiaries, representing <strong>74%<\/strong>, received compensation, with a satisfaction rate of <strong>95.7%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Zio and Yoto Prefectures<\/strong>, <strong>78<\/strong> of the <strong>136<\/strong> expected beneficiaries, representing <strong>57.3%<\/strong>, received compensation. The satisfaction rate among beneficiaries reached <strong>97.4%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>HCRRUN welcomed the high level of satisfaction expressed by beneficiaries, considering it a reflection of their confidence in the institution&#8217;s mission and their commitment to the national reconciliation process.<\/p>\n<p>The compensation exercise for non-vulnerable victims, launched on <strong>20 March 2018<\/strong>, forms part of the first allocation of <strong>CFAF 2 billion<\/strong> provided by the State under the <strong>2017 national budget<\/strong> and will continue in the <strong>Plateaux<\/strong> and <strong>Kara<\/strong> regions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HCRRUN concluded the compensation exercise for non-vulnerable victims in the Maritime Region on 6 April 2018 with a press briefing held following the completion of the Ts\u00e9vi\u00e9 phase.
