This is why HCRRUN has approached this phase with great sensitivity and care for the victims.<\/p>\n<p>At the opening of operations on <strong>Monday, 7 May 2018<\/strong>, the President of HCRRUN, <strong>Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya<\/strong>, took the opportunity to call on victims whose names have not yet appeared on the list to remain patient, explaining that this is only the first phase of compensation and that other lists of names will follow as the State provides the necessary funds to the Institution.<\/p>\n<p>Administrative, civil, traditional, and religious authorities who participated in the launch ceremony in Atakpam\u00e9 also called on victims to embrace forgiveness and reconciliation.<\/p>\n<p>Also present were <strong>Monsignor Nicod\u00e8me Barrigah-B\u00e9nissan, Bishop of Atakpam\u00e9, and Togbui Agokoli IV, President of the Association of Traditional Chiefs of Togo<\/strong>, who are respectively <strong>President and Member of the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (CVJR)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nearly 1,000 victims are expected for this first phase of compensation for non-vulnerable victims, which began this morning at the Social Affairs Office in Atakpam\u00e9 and covers the prefectures of Ogou, Amou, Wawa, and Ak\u00e9bou.Among all the localities that experienced socio-political unrest in Togo, Atakpam\u00e9 was one of the epicentres of violence in 2005.
