Only after that will we speak of forgiveness and reconciliation<\/em>\u2019\u2019, said one participant. Other concerns related to the possibility of new testimonies, land issues, the repatriation of the mortal remains of Sylvanus Olympio, the first President of Togo, and compensation for victims from the period prior to 2005.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7731 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/hcrrun_tourn\u00e9e_information_r\u00e9parations_lom\u00e9_awanana_310517_9-566x323.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"385\" height=\"220\"><\/p>\n<p>The President of the HCRRUN and the HCRRUN resource persons, as well as the President of the Special Delegation, Mr Fogan ADEGNON, in his capacity as a son of B\u00e8, had to use tact, words of love and, above all, a message of forgiveness to calm the fervour and resentment of those taking part in this meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The curtain has therefore fallen on this phase of explanation of the reparations programme.
