This session follows the previous ones held respectively in the Savanes and Centrale regions in September and October 2020.<\/p>\n\n<p>More than 5,000 victims of political violence and massive human rights violations awaiting reparations will be compensated during this week.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hcrrun_indemisation_kara_decembre_2020_remise_cheque.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8818\" width=\"362\" height=\"242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hcrrun_indemisation_kara_decembre_2020_remise_cheque.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hcrrun_indemisation_kara_decembre_2020_remise_cheque-300x201.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hcrrun_indemisation_kara_decembre_2020_remise_cheque-566x377.jpeg 566w, https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hcrrun_indemisation_kara_decembre_2020_remise_cheque-390x260.jpeg 390w, https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hcrrun_indemisation_kara_decembre_2020_remise_cheque-103x68.jpeg 103w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>In view of the health situation linked to the coronavirus pandemic, the HCRRUN has introduced new measures by requiring compliance with barrier gestures for anyone accessing the compensation sites.<\/p>\n\n<p>The operations are taking place respectively at the Agbonou Cultural Centre in Atakpam\u00e9 for victims from the Plateaux-Est region and at the Kara Directorate of Social Action for those from the said region, from 7 to 13 December 2020.<\/p>\n\n<p>Launched in December 2017, the compensation operations have already reached more than 10,000 victims, while more than 10,000 others are still waiting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The High Commission for Reconciliation and Strengthening of National Unity (HCRRUN) began a compensation session this Monday, 7 December 2020, in the Kara and Plateaux regions.
