Peacebuilding Action: One Year after the Launch of the Implementation of the Common Commitments Declaration<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The year 2021<\/strong> marked the beginning of a new approach by the High Commission for Reconciliation and Strengthening of National Unity (HCRRUN) in the implementation of Phase IV<\/strong> of the victim compensation component of the Reparations Programme. The objective was to bring compensation services closer to beneficiaries and reduce the constraints associated with travelling to regional capitals.
Accordingly, this new phase was launched simultaneously on 25 January 2021<\/strong> in Tohoun<\/strong>, for beneficiaries from the Moyen-Mono Prefecture<\/strong>, and in Bassar<\/strong>, for beneficiaries from the Bassar<\/strong> and Dankpen Prefectures<\/strong>. This decentralized approach was warmly welcomed by the local authorities, who expressed their appreciation to the Government of Togo through the President of HCRRUN.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
