{"id":10223,"date":"2022-03-09T17:53:26","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T17:53:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/visit-of-the-g5-to-the-ombudsman-of-the-republic-and-the-hcrrun\/"},"modified":"2026-07-22T11:38:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T11:38:17","slug":"visit-of-the-g5-to-the-ombudsman-of-the-republic-and-the-hcrrun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/en\/visit-of-the-g5-to-the-ombudsman-of-the-republic-and-the-hcrrun\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit of the G5 to the Ombudsman of the Republic and the HCRRUN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"378\">The Ombudsman of the Republic and the High Commission for Reconciliation and Strengthening of National Unity (HCRRUN) held a working and exchange meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, with the ambassadors of the Group of Five (G5) in Togo, namely the European Union, France, the Federal Republic of Germany, the United States, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"718\">The diplomats had come to learn about the progress of activities undertaken by the two institutions headed by Ms. Awa Nana-Daboya. The Ombudsman of the Republic and President of the HCRRUN, together with her colleagues, provided the guests with an update on their respective activities, as well as their short- and medium-term priorities.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"wp-image-9105\" src=\"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/a-DSC_0118-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/a-DSC_0118-1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/a-DSC_0118-1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"998\">Regarding the Ombudsman of the Republic, the ambassadors were briefed on her new responsibilities under the new organic law, as well as the actions undertaken since she took office on October 24, 2021, and declared her assets before the Constitutional Court on January 24, 2022.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1320\">With regard to the HCRRUN, an overview was provided of the implementation of the recommendations and reparation programme of the CVJR.
