{"id":10176,"date":"2018-05-14T14:59:30","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T14:59:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/second-week-of-compensation-for-non-vulnerable-victims-in-atakpame\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T10:45:11","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T10:45:11","slug":"second-week-of-compensation-for-non-vulnerable-victims-in-atakpame","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/en\/second-week-of-compensation-for-non-vulnerable-victims-in-atakpame\/","title":{"rendered":"Second Week of Compensation for Non-Vulnerable Victims in Atakpam\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HCRRUN is continuing the compensation programme for non-vulnerable victims from the <strong>Eastern Plateaux Region<\/strong> in <strong>Atakpam\u00e9<\/strong> from <strong>14 to 18 May 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Following a first week mainly dedicated to victims from the <strong>Ogou Prefecture<\/strong>, this week&#8217;s activities will focus on victims from the prefectures of <strong>Ak\u00e9bou, Amou, and Wawa<\/strong>. Victims from the Ogou Prefecture who have not yet received their compensation are also expected to report during this period.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the recommendations of the <strong>Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (CVJR)<\/strong>, HCRRUN has been implementing, since <strong>December 2017<\/strong>, the compensation programme for victims of political violence experienced by Togo.This first phase is funded through a budget allocation of <strong>CFAF 2 billion<\/strong> provided to HCRRUN by the Government of Togo and covers part of the victims affected by the <strong>2005 events<\/strong>.
