The mobile compensation mission organised by HCRRUN for non-vulnerable victims who were absent or reported late during the initial compensation operations in the regions officially commenced on Tuesday, August 14. The mission began in the cities of Atakpam\u00e9 and Kara and continued until August 17 in Kara and August 18 in Atakpam\u00e9. The Kara team was scheduled to travel to Mango on Saturday, August 18, to compensate victims in the Savanes Region.<\/p>\n
During the first two days of operations, a significant number of victims remained unreachable or could not be traced for various reasons.<\/p>\n
HCRRUN appealed to the cooperation of the public in helping to locate these victims. During a special broadcast on Radio Kara on Wednesday, August 15, the Institution\u2019s First Rapporteur, Mr Wiyao Evalo, stated that \u201cHCRRUN will ensure that no victim is left uncompensated,\u201d and encouraged the population to consult the published lists and, where possible, inform elderly people and those living in remote communities who may have limited access to information.<\/p>\n
