The week declared by the Togolese Government, following a proposal by HCRRUN, for the purification of Togo concluded on Sunday, 9 July 2017<\/strong>, with Catholic masses and Protestant services.<\/p>\n

At the Assemblies of God Temple at ESTAO in Lom\u00e9<\/strong>, the President of HCRRUN, Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya<\/strong>, Prime Minister S\u00e9lom Komi Klassou<\/strong>, and several members of the Government attended the service dedicated to the purification of Togo.<\/p>\n

Through the sermon delivered by Reverend Djakouti Mitr\u00e9<\/strong>, the President of the Christian Council of Togo<\/strong> called on Togolese citizens to embrace love and forgiveness.<\/p>\n

Prayers of repentance and restoration were offered to God on this occasion, and His mercy was implored upon Togo.<\/p>\n

The same masses and services were held throughout the country with the same intentions.<\/p>\n

These purification ceremonies, in response to Recommendation 47 of the CVJR<\/strong>, reached their climax on Thursday<\/strong> with prayers, libations, and offerings by traditional priests to the spirits and ancestors, followed by Muslim prayers on Friday<\/strong> in all mosques across Togo, attended by the Head of State, Faure Gnassingb\u00e9<\/strong>, at the Grand Mosque of Lom\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The two HCRRUN Rapporteurs, accompanied by resource persons and members of the Peace Committees, represented the Institution at the various ceremonies held in all prefectures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
