The week decreed by the Togolese government, following a proposal by HCRRUN, for the purification of Togo concluded this Sunday, July 9, 2017, with Catholic masses and Protestant services.<\/p>\n

At the Assemblies of God temple at ESTAO in Lom\u00e9, the President of HCRRUN, Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya, Prime Minister Selom Komi Klassou, and several members of his government attended the service dedicated to the purification of Togo.<\/p>\n

Through the sermon delivered by Reverend Djakouti Mitr\u00e9, the President of the Christian Council of Togo exhorted Togolese citizens to love and forgiveness.<\/p>\n

Prayers of repentance and restoration were offered to God for the occasion, and His mercy was implored upon Togo.<\/p>\n

The same masses and services were held throughout the country for the same intentions.<\/p>\n

These purification ceremonies, in response to Recommendation 47 of the CVJR, reached their climax starting Thursday with prayers, libations, and offerings by traditional priests to the spirits and ancestors, followed by Muslim prayers on Friday in all mosques across Togo, attended by Head of State Faure Gnassingb\u00e9 at the Grand Mosque of Lom\u00e9.<\/p>\n
