During a press conference on Friday, February 16, 2018, the High Commission for Reconciliation and the Strengthening of National Unity (HCRRUN) announced the continuation of psycho-medical care activities and compensation for vulnerable victims, which began last December.<\/p>\n
These activities are taking place at the new HCRRUN premises located in Cit\u00e9 OUA, opposite the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n
This meeting was also an opportunity for the Institution to provide a mid-term review of this victim support process.<\/p>\n
According to Ms. Awa Nana-Daboya, ” HCRRUN had set itself the objective of completing, during this first phase, the 137 victims from 2005 as identified by the CVJR. However, at the end of this experimental phase in December, only 67 victims could be taken care of.
