{"id":10008,"date":"2018-03-02T14:42:45","date_gmt":"2018-03-02T14:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/hcrrun-concludes-the-2005-vulnerable-victims-phase\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T12:11:01","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T12:11:01","slug":"hcrrun-concludes-the-2005-vulnerable-victims-phase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hcrrun-tg.org\/en\/hcrrun-concludes-the-2005-vulnerable-victims-phase\/","title":{"rendered":"HCRRUN Concludes the 2005 Vulnerable Victims Phase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Through a press briefing held on <strong>Friday, 2 March 2018<\/strong>, at its headquarters, HCRRUN announced the completion of the support phase for vulnerable victims of the <strong>2005 events<\/strong>, which began on <strong>12 December 2017<\/strong>.Addressing the press, the President of HCRRUN indicated that, out of the <strong>137 vulnerable victims<\/strong> identified for this phase, <strong>96 received support<\/strong>, to which <strong>11 victims classified as special cases<\/strong> were added. In total, HCRRUN provided psycho-medical support to <strong>107 victims out of a total of 148<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Regarding the 137 vulnerable victims initially identified, the assessment reveals that 41 individuals could not be supported,&#8221;<\/em> stated <strong>Mrs. Awa Nana-Daboya<\/strong>.According to information gathered by HCRRUN, <strong>18 victims are reported to have passed away<\/strong>, while <strong>15 could not be located<\/strong> despite efforts made by traditional and administrative authorities, as well as by the HCRRUN unit responsible for locating victims.Furthermore, <strong>seven (7) victims who were contacted did not travel to Lom\u00e9 for various reasons<\/strong>, while <strong>one victim who did not have any of the documents required by HCRRUN, but who nevertheless travelled to Lom\u00e9, could not be supported<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We wish to emphasize that the doors of HCRRUN remain open and that the rights of victims who have not yet been located or who have passed away remain inviolable.
